I listen to a lot of my daughter’s suggestions regarding new music. Most just don’t appeal to me (sorry/not sorry, Oliver Tree). But this one grabbed me instantly. Probably because it sounds like it came out in 1981! Which is not a bad thing to these ears, and evidently to lots of youngsters’ as well. It has that Gang of Four meets Wire with Neil Tennant sensibility that I used to love. Crap name, excellent sound! And they’ve made a fascinating video for this as well! Check them out, I think you’ll dig it, my fair readers. And as per the usual, PLAY IT LOUD!
